I'm not even being surprised… it's so commonplace it's hardly worth noting.
But I am somewhat surprised that a guy who doesn't have anything against Latin doesn't know his Roman numerals… 😉 If you want that to read correctly, bigger numbers first- MXXXXVI, but honestly I think MIVL is probably better form. Couldn't help myself- my Catholic high school education included Latin classes led by a faithful Catholic who started each class with the Ave Maria. 🙂
