That was growtivating! Thanks for sharing! LOL!

Truly brilliant and dead-on! And a little cringeworthy.
Such a tough one, because God still chooses to work in wonderful ways through these big churches for many, even though they don't and can't offer the fullness of His truth.
God works in mysterious ways.

Hmmmm. On the one hand I really am miffed at you for blatantly poking fun at our separated brothers in Christ (aka heretics). On the other hand, I'm reminded how eternally grateful I am that by the grace of God I am Catholic. And on the third hand, I am painfully aware of the fact that there are Satanic forces at work who would seek to turn our/His church into this.
Kyrie Eleyson, Kyrie Elyeson.

ACK! Early Riser has THREE HANDS! Call an exorcist!

Matthew wasn't poking fun at them. They were poking fun at themselves. If you check out the other videos they are the kind of church they present in this video (which is why it is so well done). It seems they too laugh because they believe and because of that would probably consider it the highest compliment that they have been featured on CMR. Good stuff.

I dunno if being featured by Pat and Matt is really a compliment…
J/K, love y'all.

Anon @ 1:09 it was a JOKE. I couldn't give two figs if anyone makes fun of heretics. They are theologically risible.

I live around the corner from this MegaChurch. My idea of purgatory is getting stuck in their Sunday traffic jam. I'm kinda shocked they don't take themselves more seriously!

Haha, too funny!

And to think, this is what the parents in our Catholic parish are pretty much begging for, so their children will participate.
Sad.

I'm still laughing at the "awards" listed at the very end!

"This weekend I dropped the kids off at the indoor playground, grabbed some Cinabon and Starbucks and listened to some tunes."
"Oh, did you go to the mall?"
"No. Church."

Brilliant video! Makes me doubly grateful for the grace and blessing of being Catholic and being truly fed on Sundays… fed with Jesus Himself!

Thank you Erin for your humbling reminder that God does not refuse grace to those whose best effort has thus far led them to a 'decoy' – no disparagement intended – of the Church. And you Early Riser for your reminder that we should be all the more thankful that we live in the warm and vital embrace of Holy Mother Church herself. I wandered many years among the tents of Protestant Christendom, subsisting on spiritual roots and berries, until a desperate need for more, and much grace, led to the astonishing discovery that a seat had always awaited me at the King's own dining table, and a life of unthinkable riches in the castle.

Cut one of your hands off and cast if from you.

We callin' "the e-faith or the e-no-heaven". Amazing video, my brothers. Our faith catholic is the true in Our Lord, the anothers… just the shame.

Anon – I will do so right after you cast off that 10 lbs of dead-weight above your neck.

I offer this distinction, there is a difference between saving grace, sanctifying grace, and actual grace.
Actual grace is a brief interior movement of the Holy Spirit, which prompts, the human being to move closer to the truth. It certainly does not inhere in the soul, nor does it sanctify or on it's own repair our friendship with God. And no amount of it will save our separated brethren in the end.
Sanctifying grace on the other hand is the very life of God given which is received through faithful reception of the sacraments and prayer when we are not separated from God by mortal sin. It is the grace that will save the humble at the end of time. It is the grace that purifies and sanctifies the sinners soul.
I think we can say with certainty, that God didn't reveal sanctifying grace would be received by singing poorly written Christian rock songs with your hands in the air. And the adamant rejection of the Church by most protestants, isn't a real good sign that actual grace is moving them toward the truth.
Look God can do whatever he wants, unfortunately, the attitude that grace is moving these people to do mighty things in the name of the Lord is a little to sugary and well inaccurate for this theology major. The gate is narrow my friends. And if we continue to take the position that God is working, we deny the reality that human beings, atheists in fact, can do nice things by their nature with no assistance from God.
It is faith in sanctifying grace and the methods which God revealed it would be received that makes our works his works. Nothing else, regardless of how it looks on the outside..is meritorious.
By the way, this video was hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing…I worked for an Archdiocese which has embraced this entirely! Too Funny…and to sad at the same time..

I really can't believe my eyes. The Mass is the highest form of worship, true, but is it really necessary, let alone remotely prudent, to mock our separated brethren so severely? It is downright sad that many Protestant groups, and even Catholics, have replaced heavenly liturgy with straight theatrics. But what exactly is the point of intentionally making a laughing stock of them? That's one of the things that burns me, that this video is designed to provoke nothing more than a "Lol. Stupid Protestants!" reaction. Do we really think that's going to bring people to truth? Abhorently uncharitable.
As for some of the comments on this video, Early Riser, it's risible for you to suggest that all Protestants are heretics. Most Protestants were raised that way and thus their culpablity for rejecting Mother Church is reduced or even elimanted. Most Protestants, tho God knows there are a handful, aren't raging anti-Catholic lunatics. They have no idea what Luther said about the Church or why he chose to split. Heretics, really? Come on, man.
This whole thing, the video, the comments, strikes me as so sickeningly elitist, I'm left dumfounded. This doesn't bring Protestants any closer to the Church Christ personally founded. It drives them much further away.

Joshua – one who espouses heresy is a heretic by definition. I will not water down the faith for you or any other luke-warm bystander in the name of political correctness.
