Sister Rosalia Bauer, a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration, prayed in front of what she called “the abortion mill” every Friday for 13 years. She said that as a nurse she could never call that building a clinic. She called it a mill that manufactured and profited from death.
She remembers being joined to pray at the clinic by a woman from Poland. The woman took one look at Northern Illinois Women’s Center and told Sister Rosalia that “the stone on the outside of the building are the same kind of stone used in Dachau.”

The 2 companies most actively involved in the distribution of the human pesticide & abortion pill, RU-486, are Hoechst A.G. of Frankfurt, Germany & Paris' Roussel Uclaf. Hoechst is the parent firm of Roussel, the company which actually produces & markets this lethal drug. But Hoechst has a historical reason for keeping a low profile in the RU-486 debate. It is Hoechst's infamous relationship to the I.G. Farben Chemical Company. Farben aided the Nazis in waging aggressive warfare & perpetrating crimes against humanity by manufacturing Zyklon B, the cyanide gas used in the Nazi death camps. At Nuremberg, in 1947, 24 Farben executives were charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.
