Newsflash! Rick Santorum is Catholic! No, really Catholic. What? Who knew?
It’s come to light that Santorum, in a number of interviews, has said he agrees with the Church and that contraception is “harmful to women.”
Insert gasp here. In fact the comments were so gasp worthy that it took months for people to realize how offended they were.

There is no major conflict between the U.S. Constitution and Catholic morality, as both are based on the Natural Law, on reason. However, there is a conflict between the Constitution and the HHS mandate, and other such policies of the administration. There are also conflicts between the Constitution and invalid laws, such as those, for instance, that permit the deliberate killing of innocent children before birth. SCOTUS and other lower courts have also radically erred at times in interpreting the Constitution, by putting ideological or political views above the Law. The conflicts are, for the most part, between the institutions of the State on the one hand, and the Constitution, with it's acknowledgement of nature and objective reason, on the other.

But isn't there also a conflict between the heresy of "Americanism" in general such as the separation of Church & State and the teachings of Roman Catholicism? And should not according to Catholic teaching the Church have veto powers over the legislatures and courts when it comes to issues of morality such as abortion and SSM? But if a Catholic nominee ever said such a thing he would instantly be labeled as unamerican and ant-constitution and lose both the right and the left and everyone in between. You cannot be a Catholic president without some compromising of Catholic teaching.

Catholic is Santorums's Faith. American is Santorum's citizenship.People do not have to deny their faith to be citizens, maybe in the USSR. The constitution prohibits a religious test for candidates to any public office. If Santorum respects and adheres to our founding principles and constitution, Santorum will be a great president.

I understand his tax return listed only 2% for charity. I like Santorum, but that really is disappointing.

"…We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union,…"
This is a Communist statement and the more perfect they allude to is Lucifer.
The Founding Fathers were Gnostics.
The 'Father' of this country was impotent. Martha had children from her previous husband.
There are zero descendants of George W.
God and His Christ have no place in American government.
The coming chastisement of America will be softened because of the Catholics living in America.

Santorum's Catholic all right: I rec'd a mailing yesterday from FRC where both "Catholic" candidates, Santorum & Gingrich, OPPOSE reversing the policy of letting homosexuals serve openly in the military. The non-Catholics are for reversing it.

@Pablo the Mexican: Do you really believe that Lucifer will bring the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, while aborting them. Every decent citizen is George Washington's spiritual child. Are you?

God is LOVE and love of neighbor. Mammon is selfishness. In addition, the Constitution is about the person's rights and the government's duties to defend the virginity and innocence of the person. It is called JUSTICE. Without God there is no JUSTICE. So, go vote for Mammon. No God, no soul. No unalienable rights. Freedom.

Voting for pro-NDAA, pro-Fed swindling, corrupt, pro-"Patriot" act tyranny warvangelical Santorum is not a vote for God.
Yet another Catholic embarrassment.

Every decent citizen is George Washington's spiritual child. Are you? …
I am the spiritual child of a woman named Nuestra Senora Santa Maria de Guadalupe…
George was a Freemason, they are sons of Satan.
Are you a Gnostic, A Freemason Luciferian? A child pf Washington and Satan?

Mr. Santorum's people have tentatively scheduled a meeting at the Shriner's Lodge in Phoenix.
Real Catholics do not hold meetings at Freemason Lodges.

And evidently no spellcheck on your computer.

This is the opposite of their position. You seem to be under the impression that Gingrich and Santorum want to allow gays to serve in the military, but that is the opposite of their position. In fact Santorum has come in for ridicule for his absoute stance against the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell.
The current policy allows gays to serve in the military only if they do not reveal their homosexual tendencies. Reversing this policy would be what allows gays to serve openly in the military. Therefore Romney and Paul are the ones who support allowing gays to serve openly.

Philosophically, Ron Paul is more Catholic than Santorum.

You're right, Donald. But who wants to be authentically Catholic when "we" can cram commie "social justice" down peoples throats at gunpoint and tell them its "Catholicism" and get all smug talking about how "holy" we are..
