After removing the cross a decade ago from its official seal, Los Angeles County recently approved putting a cross back on its official seal after removing it ten years ago, according to news reports.
The ACLU is promising to fight it. I’m thinking, do we even want the cross associated with Los Angeles? I think if it’s put back on, Christians should join the ACLU in a suit to have it removed. You see, I’m all about bringing people together.

Doesn't the name, "Los Angeles" have religious connotations? The ACLU should have them change it to "Los Freeways."

The best and the worst thing anybody can say about a person is his name. "What's in a name?" wrote Shakespeare. The hippie in the cartoon must take his sign to Iraq and Afghanistan. The sign of the cross is for all people, especially our posterity. After baby-blues had me down. I looked up and there was a lighted cross atop a church. I was uplifted.
The sign of the cross is: "In the name of the Father and in the name of the Son and in the name of the Holy Spirit". Do not remove this grace from our posterity.

The members of the ACLU can't remember when they were "our constitutional posterity". Atheism removed the grace of the cross from them and the acknowledgement of their immortal souls, their legal and moral innocence, and now the ACLU wants to inflict this same deprivation on our newest "Constitutional posterity." just plain meaness

As a resident of CA, yes, we need the cross! Isn't it incredible that the cross is still making us uncomfortable after 2,000 years? 1 Cor. 1:23

To the ACLU: "…or prohibit the free exercise thereof."
