We cheer that Ron DeSantis signed the Parental Rights in Education bill that will prevent teachers from grooming children into the LGBT culture but then we pay our Disney Plus subscription so that a woke corporation can do the same thing right in our living rooms.
It’s at least a little ironic that Disney executives protested DeSantis by accusing him of forbidding teachers from saying “gay” which DeSantis did not do. Meanwhile Disney was actually forbidding its employees from using the words “boy” and “girl” at their theme parks.
Disney has chosen their side in the culture war. Have we chosen ours?

I started botcotting Disney in 2015 when in response to then merely candidate Trump saying he wanted to put restrictions on H1B visas they fired all their American animators in Florida and imported H1B Indians to replace them AND made them train their replacements or lose their severance packages. Of course when Trunp got in he did nothing about it (what a loser he turned out to be).

I think I started boycotting Disney about 25 years ago, when Eisner started changing the character of the company. Let’s not forget that Touchstone Pictures was created in 1984 so that Disney could produce R-rated films while still PRETENDING to follow Walt’s vision. I have allowed myself a few exceptions; notably, I bought a DVD of the 1940 movie Fantasia, and I bought a few seasons of Gravity Falls on Amazon Prime. (“Weirdmaggedon” is as good a name as possible for what is going on now. More importantly, the whole bit about Mabel’s wish-fulfillment prison, which seemed to be whatever she wanted but was all worms and corruption underneath, is PRECISELY a critique of what Disney wants to impose on us.)
So I was on board when the Southern Baptist Convention called for a boycott in 1997. That attempt was half-hearted at best, and it sort of fizzled away. I doubt any new attempt would be more successful.
