If you’ve been paying attention to the battle between the Catholic Church and the Obama administration and listening to the scorecard keeping by the media, you’d think it’s been a rout for the administration.
How many talking heads have called the past week a great week for the Administration? How many have said that the Administration has successfully changed the story from one of religious freedom to contraceptive rights. How many Republicans, like John Mccain, are urging that we raise the flag of surrender because we’ve been licked.
Yet, the polls seem to be going against Obama, and I’ve got to ask why is it that the Administration is releasing clarifications on Friday afternoons and desperately seeking to punt this issue until after the election. You don’t shift tactics if you’re winning. So as much as the media is already urging Obama to do a touchdown dance, it seems he’s losing ground.
The Obama administration wins victories by seeking to cow their opposition. And the bishops are not acting cowed. Not even a little. The The media, the Democratic party, and the Obama administration have all talked down to the bishops and ridiculed them. And let’s face it, that typically works against their Republican opponents. But instead of backing down, the bishops seem only to be ramping up their efforts to oppose the administration. And now it’s Obama who seemingly doesn’t want this to be an election issue.
Make no mistake, if Obama wins re-election this mandate will go into effect immediately. But clearly despite everyone labeling this a “W” for Team Obama there’s at least one person who clearly doesn’t think he’s winning – Obama.

According to most sources I've been able to find, the mandate has already gone into effect, without the silly verbiage that the President likened to an accommodation.

Pray, fast, and help your candidate of choice to stop this iron-fisted administration. It's time for Pope and change.

Who will be willing to say an extra three Hail Marys today for victory by the Church over this administration? I will!

Cardinal Dolan is calling for a day of prayer and fasting on March 30th….not sure about anymore details, just remember seeing him post it on facebook the other day…apparently Obama can't comprehend that the Church doesn't operate on election cycles and has survived for 2000+ yrs, you don't survive that long unless you stand for something without wavering
