Governor JB Pritzker is saying that if you’re for school choice and against LGBT indoctrination in schools, then you can F— off. Essentially, he’s telling faithful serious Christians that they…what…don’t belong in Illinois? They can…f off?
He seems nice.
Governor J.B. Pritzker attacked school choice and said its supporters "can F*CK ALL THE WAY OFF."

I get so tired of this whole new tough guy cursing persona the Dems are taking on. They think that’s what makes Donald Trump popular. Spoiler alert – it’s not. We cringe when Trump does it too. But Trump is the first president to listen to us and push back on the leftist agenda.
And the other thing is that Trump is funny. The dude knows how to deliver a line. This gasbag seems like a politician reading off a cue card written by a college intern.
But back to the Christian thing. The gloves do seem to be coming off. When Biden was in charge, it was the FBI running an investigation into Trad Catholics, it was the DA pressing charges against pro-lifers, and the vandals who spray painted Churches did it at night so we could never possibly discover who they were.
But they’re out of power now so those in power have to feed the furnaces of hate with words because that’s all they have right now. Be assured, where they have power they will attack Christians. And in the future it will be bolder and more obvious than ever.
But so should our resistance be. Bolder. More obvious. These coming dark times will require great amounts of light. Be prepared to reflect God’s love where needed. And be prepared to pay a price.

I myself am sick and tired of the foul language that is being used from both sides. It is beneath the office that the politician holds. I pray that Trump refrains from such language for the example should come from the top down, including from the cabinet members. The Dems? I won’t hold my breath. I think at times they feel that it makes them sound tough for their leftist base. Well, it doesn’t. It’s phoney and a total lack of discipline on their part…and some Republicans.

I fully agree, Bob and Mr. A.
It used to be that people watched their language around children and others in a polite society. When network TV lowered their censoring standards 40-50 years ago, it lowered standards for the public as well.
Politicians, celebrities, and anyone in the public eye needs to remember that they may be someone a child looks up to. They can have a real influence for the good if they simply act like adult ladies and gentlemen.
It’s not simply a matter of morals – it is a matter of decency and responsibility toward others.

Actually (I may be wrong) I think when cable came around and it was privately owned, the FCC had less control of cable movies and stations as far as content and then movies with swearing finally entered the home.

You are probably right, Bob.
It seems to me that the greatest and most powerful country in the world should step up. Making the world a better place starts with each of us, at home. Tightening up standards for television broadcasts is a beginning. And expecting politicians and celebrities to use standard, acceptable language while in public, with no profanity or off-color references would follow.
Just my opinion, for what it’s worth. I think that instead of catering to the lowest common denominator, it’s time to aim higher. It isn’t just a Catholic issue, but it’s an American issue.
Peace, brother!
