Get this. A self described “Roman Catholic priestess” waiting to see President Obama was standing up for traditional marriage when she was dragged away by the Secret Service…Wait. I’m sorry. Could I just pause over that sentence again. A self described Roman Catholic priestess was standing up for traditional marriage?… Yeah. That’s what I thought it said. This is a complex woman.
And hey, where’s the rainbows on her cassock?
But anyway, here’s what happened, according to Hot Air:
(Brenda) Lee said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press that she wanted to hand Obama a letter urging him “to take a stand for traditional marriage.”
She said she asked a Secret Service agent to give the president her letter, but he refused and referred her to a White House staffer. Lee said she refused to give the staffer the letter.
“I said, ‘I’ll take my chances if (the president) comes by here,’” said Lee, who identified herself as a Roman Catholic priestess who lives in Anaheim, Calif. “He became annoyed that I wouldn’t give him the letter.”
Lee, who was wearing what she described as a cassock, said she protested when she was asked to leave…
Two officers then picked her up and carried her out. An Associated Press photographer photographed the incident. “I was afraid you could see under my clothes,” she said, her voice choking up.
Now, you’ve got to think that many of the other priestesses are embarrassed by this priestess going after Obama and all. I nominate Brenda Lee as the Carrie Prejean of women priestesses. Except Carrie Prejean wasn’t as worried about people seeing under her clothes.

I think, quite honestly, I know the church that this lady goes to every Sunday. I live right near Anaheim, and she comes to my church often trying to tell people her “story.”

To think she wasn’t mentioned among the “anti-abortion” people, and war veterans from E-Rock (intentional), who are a “threat” to US security. I guess US is Obama’s people referring to themselves;)!
Don’t you mean womyn, breaking CMR policy are we;)!
Shame, but many people have odd views;)! Maybe a seminary told her they need women priests, here in RSA, allot of priests went on state television, saying that the church would one day have women priests (talk about calling PBXVI sexist);)!

If the White House Staffer was “annoyed” because she wouldn’t give him her silly letter, just imagine how made the White House will get when people pay taxes in chickens and pigs because the government’s taken all their money!
