Remember when everyone in the media lit their torches and sharpened their pitchforks for Rush Limbaugh for calling a woman who wanted the Catholic Church to pay for her contraception a “slut.”
But last week a liberal radio host in discussing the Hilary Rosen/Ann Romney story, called Catholics “child-raping sons of bitches” and then dropped the “Nazi scum” moniker on Pope Benedict XVI. But oddly, this outburst has hardly caused a ripple among the powers that be.
According to Google News, there has not been one mainstream media story. Not one.

Demonic.

Eh…what else is new.
We certainly aren't Catholic to make friends, that's for sure.

In Matthew 16, Jesus that the gates of Hades will not prevail against Church. That implies that Hell will try to prevail against the church, but Jesus promised that Hell will not prevail. Jesus and his Holy Catholic and Apostolic church will have the victory.

All of this crap is so easily refuted it's not even an issue—much like how I would imagine the average Jew ignores the Blood Libel repeaters in favor of the remotely plausible calumnies.
Of course, the silence on this is the real story—they don't want it known that their side includes so many Blood Libel spewing psychotics.

And we should care if you are over us because… ? The real question, though, is who's Malloy? and I already figured pathetically ignorant on my own.

I agree with Curtis Bratcher completely. Satan, or who ever and what ever he calls himself will try anything to get the reaction he wants and that is for someone in the Church in a position of authority in the Church to do or say the wrong "right" thing. The Church will prevail in the end and AI am quite sure if my arms aren't long enough to box with God, they are not long enough to box with Satan. I can't even see him in person because I am not a high enough profile target for him so he won't accept my challenge to a boxing match. He' afraid I might land a lucky punch.

More children have been "raped" by public school teachers than all the sick priests combined. Fact.

Frankly, I was most surprised by the phrase, "Liberal radio host". I didnt know such an animal still existed.

How is this not "hate speech"
and where are the non-Catholic conservatives? often just as silent as the left when the Church is attacked
April 17, 2012 at 12:42 pm
D'Artagnan: Very good point. Everybody cut and paste and the next time "hate speech" comes up in the press and in political speech, this is your ammunition to shoot it down, to demand equality, to demand an apology from Obama and the Federal Communications Commission, the agency that is to protect TRUTH, the whole TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH, so help me God. If the FCC is allowing calumny and slander, and Cass Sunstein, Obama's propaganda czar is encouraging this in vengeance against the bishops for demanding our unalienable rights to our conscience, let the battle begin. Mr. Obama, give us back our souls and let us deal with our sins. Our Pope Benedict XVI gives us the Sacrament of Reconciliation for repentance. What does your pope give you for your repentance? OH, you do not repent your sins? So, anyone who voted for Obama gets the burden of Obama's unrepented sins. Human sacrifice in abortion, lust in same sex relations, arrogation of unauthorized voter prerogative in backroom swindles, usurpation of citizens' private property and the ownership of all public property, jealousy of man's unalienable freedom and contempt for the sovereign personhood endowed by our Creator to the human being's soul,…among other crimes against humanity. Obama, return to us the acknowledgment of our rational, immortal souls, that you so jealously covet, or let the burden of our innocence impress upon you the TRUTH of America.

Personally, I have had it with all the Catholic bashing. Does this constitute Hate Speech? How do we sue him for this? I agree that if anyone said that about muslims, gays, African Americans, etc. it would be considered Hate Speech. We need to stand up for The Church that Jesus Christ began on Holy Thursday. To do nothing is a vote for the other side…

This is hate speech to be sure, but it was provoked by the frequently inept Donohue and his crazy tweet:
https://mobile.twitter.com/#!/CatholicLeague/status/190427506904539136
He has a track record of putting his foot in his mouth, and I so wish that the Church had a more intellectual and media savvy spokesman. His public profile has become too huge for him to handle. And the yelling. Not a fan of the yelling.
April 17, 2012 at 4:35 pm
Benedict XVI refused to attend Hitler Youth meetings (his whole family was anti-Nazi) and in 2004 the US department of Education estimated that the abuse problem is "at least 100 times worse" in the public schools, and we still have to put up with nonsense like this?
Imagine if some Malloy claimed that "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" was true.

Who cares, cry me a river. If name calling still hurts your feelings then you deserve to be made fun of
April 18, 2012 at 4:26 am
Anonymous, very, very few people actually deserve ths kind of vicious and slanderous attack — least of all Pope Benedict. The ones left are truly the worst exemplars of humanity. But that's not the point; the point is the utter hypocrisy.
April 18, 2012 at 3:08 pm
What can you expect from non-believers… sunshine and lollipops? They're mired in the hopelessness of the mess they've made by making themselves "gods". We at least have hope in our faith, and must continue to fight the good fight.
