Yeah, the GOP primary is getting this ugly. This ad is being run by a Ron Paul supporter. Despicable.
I think they mean other than Mrs. Perry.
And this better be the last time I ever hear the words “Ron Paul” and “sex” in the same story. You hear me?

I would never say Ron Paul supporters are from another world, but I do love the use of the "space age/Star Trek-esque" font.
Coincidence?

I'm no RP fan, but "supporters" of anyone do all kinds of unauthorized stupid things. I'd like to think RP wouldn't go for this here. How about that fine print, eh? Sickos.

Agreed Regina. This should absolutely not be held against Ron Paul. However, if the roles were reversed and some whackdo Perry supporter had run this about Ron Paul, his supporters would be livid about it and would use it as just another reason to complain of everyone's hatred of Ron Paul.

Honestly, who's this supposed to help? I'll buzz in and say..umm…"no one."

I know he's been in bed with Merck.. I hope he's had his HPV shot.

Don't know Rick Perry's background, but Bruno made a pretty significant pass at Ron Paul. Please don't ask me why I know that.
August 18, 2011 at 8:43 pm
I really don't understand why it is significant that it's a Ron Paul supporter who is doing this.

I think these folks are ticked that there's another candidate with the initials "RP" that actually has an electoral chance. 😉

Rick's hand-wavy fundamentalism is admittedly a bit off-putting, and it was tin-eared of him to schedule a Fisher-Price day of prayer on the Feast of the Assumption and, simultaneously, the Jewish Sabbath. That said, I do belief the man is real, that he has a core.
August 18, 2011 at 10:27 pm
Even if the Feast of the Assumption was on the Jewish Sabbath, why would it be tin-eared to have a day of prayer on such a day?
August 18, 2011 at 11:14 pm
I actually know who this is, he lives in my district, and I see him every time I get elected as a delegate to go to my county's convention. Let's just say he doesn't make is far and everyone know he is crazy. He is very disruptive and we even called for a vote to make him leave the room because of all of the foul language he was using around children and minors.
I know a lot of Ron Paul supporters, and they are definitely not like this guy. This man is his own brand of crazy.

Assumption was on Monday the 15th…the Jewish Sabbath is on Saturdays (or Friday sunsets for purists)…I am confused
August 19, 2011 at 12:12 pm
Hey, Fr. Bill, you're confused? Not as much as I! I meant the Feast of the Transfiguration. The Voices are really fussing at me for getting that wrong.

Ron Paul certainly attracts weird people. Birds of a feather flock together.

What is despicable is attempting to smear Dr. Paul because of something someone else did. Ad hominems like "crazy" increasingly are being seen for the pathetic lack of substance they are. I get it, CMR hates Dr Paul. I will skip the political postings and read the religious ones.

I love Rick Perry's don't-mess-with-Texas Texan swagger. At least with Perry as president we'd go in some of these other foreign countries and kick some butt when they threaten our way of life. Freedom lovin' Americans want a president that knows how to fight for Americans.
